From a DSP to the tool DSPs run on.
We did not set out to build software. We set out to stop losing money.
We started as a DSP.
A handful of vans and every problem every owner knows: late load outs, overtime found at payroll, rescues nobody billed, a scorecard PDF nobody opened.
We tried the tools.
Hera, dspworkplace and the rest. Good at what they list, but none of them checked the invoice, showed the day’s profit or knew which van was losing money. The day sheet still did not know the punch, the punch did not know the route, and the route did not know the invoice. We were still running the day from a spreadsheet and a group text.
We built our own.
Started with the day sheet. Then coaching that ends in an acknowledgment, a schedule that generates itself, and an invoice check against the week we actually ran. Built for our own DSP, by the people running it.
It became Ultimate DSP.
Nine portals in one system, one DSP phone line, and a free driver app. Other owners asked to use it. We cleaned it up and opened it to every DSP.
We priced it for everyone.
Other DSP tools charge up to nine times more per driver and sell add-ons on top. We set ours at $1 per driver with everything in. The tool that keeps the margin should not eat it.
